Two radiant brides, framed by the surreal beauty of Joshua Tree at golden hour.

There’s something undeniably magical about Joshua Tree National Park. The ancient desert landscape, with its iconic spiky trees and boulder-strewn vistas, feels like stepping onto another planet. But it’s also a place grounded in peace, solitude, and connection—making it the perfect setting for Tiffany & Katie’s unforgettable elopement.

This was not just any elopement. It was a bold, beautiful celebration of love between two brides who wrote their own rules, embraced adventure, and committed to each other beneath a bright, starry desert sky.

We started the day with an early morning 4am bonfire to capture the Milky Way. The two of them cuddled up by the fire underneath the bright starry sky of the desert was the perfect start. After a much needed nap we had a quick coffee and breakfast and got to it. I started getting the details together while the brides got ready. We had a game plan of the locations we wanted to go to since we went the day before to hike and get a shot list together. I wanted to go at golden hour, but as you know you only get a small window before the sun sets. We first went to the slot canyon inside the park, we were dead set on getting this shot and was unable to find it the day before so we went a little early to see if we could find it again. After some scrambling we finally found it. We wanted to get the most out of our time at Joshua Tree National Park and we did just that, capturing every stunning aspect we could and more. The brides alone were enough. After the slot canyon we headed over to arch rock and scrambled around there a little bit. No clouds in site but beautiful nonetheless. As dusk approached we had yet to get one with the actual Joshua tree, so we headed in the car and stopped in the road for a quick jog before pulling over for the perfect spot. The two gorgeous brides underneath the bright moon beside a Joshua tree, chef's kiss. The whole session was full of love, art & nature. All of my favorite things.
